Throughout the year, AMIB offers a variety of courses, organizes fundraisers for island marine related projects, and holds many parties and fun events. Here are some details about each of these activities.
Courses:
AMIB is very fortunate to have Blair Smith as our chief boating instructor for many of this year's courses. These course are free for all AMIB members. Non-members will be charged $10 per course, which can be put towards an AMIB membership (although this is optional).
Just show up at the door. No pre-registration required.
Where: the church house on Mayne Island
When: 7pm (most courses last for approximately 2 hours).

About Blair Smith: Blair is AMIB's chief boating instructor. He has a lifetime of boating experience and has sailed up and down the Pacific Northwest extensively on his sailboat, "Avare" and other boats. AMIB is very fortunate to have Blair donate his time, expertise, and excellent teaching abilities for the benefit of our members. |
