Off to a Great Start: Friday Night Movie Nights
Last year we held very successful movie nights courtesy of the Mayne Inn who provided us with their comfortable lounge and large screen TV.
On Friday, October 27th, our first Movie Night of the year got off to an excellent start with 27 members and guests showing up at the Mayne Inn Bistro for an evening of socializing and boating videos.
Features included an entertaining video from Allen and Mary Slade based upon their recent kayaking tour of Croatia plus a bit from their Ranger Tug cruise to Desolation Sound. The other videos included one on the 2014 Vic Maui Race and another on kayaking in Wales.
These evenings are free to all AMIB members and guests. Some of us come down for an early dinner. Details of the next films TBA. Watch for info in your email.
If any AMIB member has some boating videos to share please contact any of the Executive. We can provide all the necessary technical equipment and expertise.
Our next movie night will be Friday, November 24th at 7:00 pm, Mayne Inn Bistro. Details TBA

Give us your feedback so we can see which courses have enough interest to warrant a course date.
AMIB works with our chief instructor, Blair Smith, to offer a variety of important boating courses and workshops. Most of our courses are held during the Fall and Winter. The rest of the time we are out boating!
We thank Blair for volunteering his time and expertise to help boaters improve their boating skills.
