Let's Get Together .... June Boat Rendezvous

  First rendezvous of the year is going to be held at Port Browning.
 
When: 25th June 2014
Time: from 1 pm
Where: Port Browning Marina
Why: Weather is good, frolicking is needed  

Details:

• To reserve a slip at the marina, please RSVP Neil Jensen (539 3092; email [email protected]) by 23th June
• Some boats are staying overnight; others returning later in the evening. Let Neil know
• Plenty of space available for those not wanting to take a boat. Let Neil know
• Food: you bring to cook on board, or from the pub.
• Bring: musical instruments, lawn games (bocce, etc)

Location
This destination is located on North Pender at the head of a large bay off Plumper Sound and is approx 5nm from Horton Bay and 9nm from Miners Bay. There is quite a large, though dated, marina and pub with grass area. Also a nice 20 min. walk to shopping mall

Trip Briefing
If you are interested in having a trip briefing for the passage, Blair Smith  has kindly offered to give a pre-trip briefing at 7pm on 24th June at the ‘house on the hill’ at the Home Hardware store. Just turn up.
