July 30, 2015 Campbell Bay Raft Up
The weather was hot as 15 boaters gathered at the Campbell Bay Raft Up. Judy and Cliff arrived the evening before to scout out the mooring site and stay the night. C'est la Vie was expected to be the anchored boat for the raft up. In the evening a NE breeze made the boat swing out into the bay.
First to arrive were Chris and Donna and dog Jacko, plus guests Maureen and Ken, on s/v Pekona from Village Bay. Pekona, being the much larger boat, became the anchor boat instead of C'est la Vie.
Next came Kathy and John on Kathy's Edel 5, s/v Bricks, and Ted and Anita on their runabout sporting its new bimini.
Diane, Ingrid, and Peggy showed up on kayaks and stayed to swim with us.
Allen and Mary and dog Domino arrived later in their Ranger Tug, AlleMare
The highlight of the raft up, like last year, was the swimming and being on the water together.
As you can see from the photos, everyone had a lot fun. We'll do it again next year!
